The achiever:
-for our game if we added a random card that would remove materials form you when draw it, This would aggravate the the player type achiever because this would dismantle all of their progress of the gaining all crafts you can build. This wouldn't please the achiever because their whole goal would be to get all of the material.
The craftsman:
- If we added more things to craft in the game it would defiantly excite the player type of the craftsman because then they would be able to build more. We could defiantly add more thing into the game that give the players more abilities.
the competitor:
- If we removed the element of battling form our game it would aggravate the player type of the competitor. This is because the competitor player type always wants to be the best and doesn't want to loose the game. without this mechanic it would limit players to be able to win as fast as possible because each player would still have six hearts.
Dramatic Elements:
- if we added a mechanic of being able to move quicker on the board, for example like added a pair of running shoes that would automatically add 2 more to you dice roll. For example if you rolled a 1 you would move 3 spaces or if you rolled a 6 you move 8 spaces. This would affect all of the player types in a positive way. it would make the craftsman being able to craft thing quicker by making the player get to those spaces with material faster. it would make the competitor be able to to eliminate player quicker by being able to travel to them faster. it would benefit the achiever because it gives them more incentive to get the shoes to win the game. one mechanic that would deficit every player listed above would be removing the killing player aspect. this is because it would make the only way to win by assembling the boat to get off the island.
